Golden week ends today!

Yes.. the Golden week is coming to an end, and I think I learnt a lot these few days, despite not able to fully utilized them on holidays or visiting my dearest back in Malaysia.

Joined my colleagues on a trip to Shizuoka for the weekends and.... It made me realize somehow how big the gap and differences between me and my Japanese counterparts. Be it in the culture as well as how they think.

Though there are parts of them worth respected, there are some others that I should put as a remark, and I should be careful in the future.

Being raised as a Muslim, in which we are not allowed to drink, no pork or non halal food, or even no touching between the non mahram, And now staying in a place where drinking is a culture, and sex before marriage is normal,  I have to make sure that none of the borders were crossed. And because of the difference in the culture, I have to always be aware of the boundaries, and how I respond to any invitation or remarks.

And by listening to some of the stories, I learnt how people's impression of you could change in a matter of seconds just because something ridiculous, and learnt how to put myself in the third person's shoes. It's not always sweet. The person with the biggest smile might have the worst heartache.

And I learnt to be grateful to what I have and had at this point of life.

Being an adult with a lot of responsibilities to be carried on your shoulder is...

Hard.

You have bills to pay, you have your job to carry, you have your family and friends you need to give attention and love to, and of course the simple things in life like... Laundry? :p

Anywho,. Work starts tomorrow!!
I hope the best is yet to come! :))

So.. this is what happened this weekend. A one night stay at Izu, Shizuoka and a visit to the beach at Atami. We had bbq, go chitty chatty at night and ate A LOT!  :)
