Brussels, February.

it’s already May, and here I am, talking about stuff called a 3 months old history.. haha~ Sorry, but writing is just not my thing, and it’s super time consuming! Let me recall…. From Amsterdam, we headed to Brussels by bus, the euroline bus, of which we arrived at Brussels du Nord if I’m not mistaken.. And find our way to the  tram station to get to the hotel we are staying. Something peculiar about Brussels is that they have a lots of Arabic Muslims population, which means, they do have a lot of foreigners in their country but they do look at us as an alien. And their stare! SCARY~! The Belgian use French in their daily life and like the French people, they don't use much English, meaning communication is like how a cat talk to a dog by meowing, and dog talking to cats barking. =.=”
So, for the one night stay in Brussels, we stayed at Albert Hotel, situated at Rue Royale St. Marie behind the Koninklijke Sint-Mariakerk , a church in a midst of of a Muslim town.

We were so hungry by the time we reached the hotel, so we opt for the yummeyh kebab~! OMG!! it was the best kebab I’ve ever taste in my entire life!! it’s HUGE PORTION, JUICY, and CHEAP (well, for the EU standard i reckoned)!! haha~ we had it as a menu (meaning, in set of drinks and fries) for a mere 5 Euro. I was very very very delighted! and we had a full tummy for the night!
this is how the kebab looks like. (Pardon my slekeh face) Compare the kebab with my face!! wooohoo~! Open-mouthed smile

Tummy full, next station, BED! i was somewhat surprised with the hotel it’s old, and it has this elevator which operates with a door like your normal home door, got it? not like the typical sliding door, it’s like the door to your room! and it’s manual! meaning you have to close the door on your own! and the funny part is the alevator operates only to the 4th floor, but our room is on 5th floor! sigh~ BUT, we do have nice room though! comfy bed, HUGE room, and a Jacuzzi like bath tub, with a window ceiling. If only i’m on honeymoon! I’d be in that tub at night with my hubby, watching the starry night~ LOL
Enough with the nuisance! hihi So, the next morning we head our ways to the Grand Palace, Royal Palce, the obscene Maneken pis, Mercedes House, and GODIVA!! the hometown of GODIVA is Belgium people!! Open-mouthed smile The hot choc with 3 pcs of chocolates cost around 7 euros (pardon me if im wrong! it has been 3 months!! gulp!)
Belgium is famous for the chocolate, and chocolates are EVERYWHERE and CHEAP! phew! I could be obese staying in the town of chocolate!  SO.. as usual.. let the pictures do the talking, and i could shut my mouth up~ hihi here we go!
